How Prolozone Works
Developed by Dr. Frank Shallenberger, prolozone involves injecting combinations of procaine, homeopathics, vitamins, minerals, and ozone into areas of pain.
Tissues get the energy they need to heal. And as they heal, the circulation to the area is re-established, pain is cured, and the treatment has done it’s job.
Prolozone can prevent painful and un-neccessary surgery.
Prolozone involves the injection of a gas (as apposed to a liquid) in large volumes which expands into surrounding tissue. Therefore, it is not as critical to pinpoint each injection since the ozone is able to disperse and benefit anything nearby.
Most people require 3 – 5 injections administered every 2 – 3 weeks over the course of several months. Dr. Riddle will advise patients based on their individual needs and capacity for healing.
The majority of people report very little to no pain during treatment and over 80% of the patients feel immediate improvement. Anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen can be synergistic with this procedure and are accordingly not contra-indicated.
