Meet The Face Behind Seton Integrative Health Clinic
My name is Aliya Kabani and I am the proud owner of Seton Integrative Health Clinic.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I am passionate about inspiring people to become healthier versions of themselves by educating them about alternative and complementary therapies. After being a patient within the mainstream system for pretty much my entire life, I changed courses and started seeing a Naturopathic Doctor 14 years ago. That is when I decided to become one myself.
After earning my qualification in naturopathic medicine, I started working for integrative wellness clinics. Consequently, after a decade of gaining valuable experience in helping patients with their health ailments, I decided to set up a clinic to spread my knowledge and make a difference in my community.
Since launching my clinic three years ago, I’ve nurtured a patient-centered approach that has established my name in the local community. My mission is to heal one person at a time, therefore creating a ripple effect throughout their family and community.
I’m committed to creating a healthier world to live in, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my values and morals. Therefore, I’m always ethical and authentic with everyone I meet, which has built trust with patients.
I also attribute my success to my amazing, caring, and nurturing team, who are like family to me. From the front-end staff to the practitioners, they’re all adored by patients, which is immensely satisfying. I always wanted to create a warm positive energy where patients feel welcome the minute they walk in, and I believe this is what I have created at both locations of Seton Integrative Health Clinic.
It is extremely rewarding to witness the progress my patients have made since their last visit. They know that I will try to empower them wherever they are in their wellness journeys and help them in the best way that I can.
When I’m not assisting patients, I spend quality time taking care of my twin boys. I also enjoy music, podcasts, yoga reading, and experimenting with plant-based recipes.
Two things that have impacted me greatly in my life is living with a chronic disorder in my childhood called Beta-Thalassemia Major from the age of 3 to the age of 13, and having a dear friend pass away suddenly from ovarian cancer.
My focus is on family naturopathic medicine. I have all patients from all walks of life come to see me - from patients with chronic, complex medical conditions, to couples struggling with fertility, to children with behavioral disorders, to moms who have neglected themselves for so long, to seniors who want to know more about optimal nutrition for aging well.
I’ve enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I run my practice.
If you or someone you know could benefit from my knowledge as a naturopathic doctor in Calgary, AB, I invite you to get in touch. We offer free 15-minute meet and greet sessions. Please visit my website at www.setonwellness.com.
Sincerely,
Aliya
