As a therapist, I am deeply passionate about supporting and empowering individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe every person is unique, bringing a wealth of knowledge and wisdom into the therapeutic process. My commitment lies in helping clients achieve their goals, foster personal growth, and enhance well-being while honoring their lived experiences, strengths, identities, and individual needs.
As a compassionate and trauma-informed therapist, I strive to create a warm, safe, non- judgmental, and culturally sensitive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring and addressing their challenges. Practicing from a trauma-informed lens means understanding the profound impact trauma has on individuals’ lives, behaviors, and overall well-being. To support clients in processing traumatic experiences, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and will begin providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) starting February 2025—both highly effective modalities for addressing trauma and distress.
I practice from a person-centered approach, viewing clients as the experts in their own lives. Therapy is a collaborative journey where we identify areas of concern, set meaningful goals, build skills, and implement strategies to achieve those goals.
I value an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from various modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness practices.
I have experience working with clients who face a range of challenges, including trauma (chronic and complex), depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, stress, grief & loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, compulsive behaviors, life transitions, neurodiversity, and perinatal challenges. My goal is to help clients restore balance in their lives and uncover their inner strength to thrive.
